Mechelle Flowers

Mechelle Flowers brings both a love for dance and a desire to bring the joy of dance to others. She began ballroom dancing in the mid 90’s and has been socially dancing ever since. An entrepreneur for most of her life, Mechelle developed a national training software business which was acquired and merged into a much larger conglomerate allowing her to find her way back to one of her true passions in life.

Mike Flowers

Retired after 20 years of fighting fires, Mike found his attraction to fiery dancing so strong that he opened the Celebrity Ballroom Dance Studio Marietta location with his wife, Mechelle.

Milly Elkin-Crenshaw

Milly has been dancing since she was a little girl. Growing up in the ballroom biz, dancing is essential to her. She couldn’t live without it. She competed and performed as an amateur in Pro/Am competitions all through grade school before eventually going professional. She has been teaching the art of dance for 15+ years and enjoys seeing the light that begins to shine out of everyone who walks onto a dance floor.

Josh Crenshaw

Josh started his dancing journey in May 2010 when he walked into a studio to take a dance lesson. He fell in love with it and within a month was hired as a full time dance instructor. He has taught over a thousand new students over the past 11 years, many of whom have competed in some of the highest competitions. He strives to teach his students his passion for dance while helping them see themselves in a new light.

Donna Addison

Donna has been a dancer all her life. After studying with Mable Wynn and Kathy Owings Porter in her home state of South Carolina, Donna earned her B.F.A. in Dance at Florida State University and was also a scholarship student at the Alvin Ailey School in NY. Her various performance experiences include modern dance companies, regional theatre, the cruise ships of Holland America Line and even Las Vegas magic shows. Donna has taught ballet, jazz, modern dance, praise dance and various specialty acts in addition to choreographing for high school musical theatre productions. She fell in love with
ballroom dance while working on cruise ships and is very excited to join the staff at Celebrity Ballroom. Donna looks forward to sharing her love of dance with her students.

Tye Johnson

Tye fell in love with dancing at a very early age when he was introduced to ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance during his high-school years, and has even dabbled in acting! Utilizing his various talents, Tye has performed in over 50 shows such as Footloose, Westside Story, and the Juke Box Giants just to name a few. After living within the Metro-Atlanta area for many years, Tye found Celebrity Ballroom as a new way to positively impact the world through dance, and has been captivated by the gracefulness of ballroom. With his unique background and strong drive to excel in his craft, Tye aims to enrich the lives of each and everyone of his students.

Austin Franklin

Austin has been involved with Celebrity Ballroom for nearly four years. From part-time working through college as Guest Services Director to full time Ballroom Instructor, Austin has enjoyed giving the gift of dance to all of his students. Now a full-time Firefighter, Austin spends his time serving citizens of his community, as well as continuing teaching and administrative duties with Celebrity Ballroom. Austin loves to workout, spend time with his family and friends, and one of his favorite pastimes is going to the movie theatre to catch the latest flick.
