Celebrity Ballroom’s 2022 Mini Match Competition was fun!
CelebrityEach year, Celebrity Ballroom Dance Studios hosts an in studio competition where new and experienced dancers can try out a competition and/or warm up for the upcoming competition season. On February 12th, Celebrity Ballroom Dance Studio hosted its annual Mini Match Competition in the Marietta studio. It was a great success with some wonderful dancing from our students.
Celebrity Ballroom Dance Studio members danced their smooth and rhythm dancers for our astute judge, Ms. Tamsyn Devilliers. After each session, Tamsyn gave all of our competitors compelling feedback and workshops where we worked on improving our dancing even more.
The Celebrity Ballroom dancers included:

- Lora Lee Stewart
- Wanda Carter
- Clair Sampson
- Bill & Holly Welsh
- Aaron & Bethany Belt
This years top award winners were Ashleigh East (Top Proficiency Score) and Wanda Carter (Top Student). Our Top Teacher for 2022 Mini Match was Josh Crenshaw. Wanda Carter and Lora Lee Stewart both scored above a 92 on their showcase routines.
At the end of the night, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner catered by Buca Di Beppo with LIVE MUSIC from the A Sharp Affair Band.
All participants danced beautifully. This year’s event was a huge success!
