Celebrity Team Shines in the 11th Annual East Tennessee Dancesport Showdown
Sherry MooreHeld at the newly purchased Marriott Hotel in Knoxville, Tn February 21st-22nd, 2020, the 11th Annual East Tennessee Dancesport Showdown (ETDS) took place and our team member’s competition rankings are in. The night’s special dance performance was “Arabian Nights” performed by World Champion dancer Eric Luna and Three-time, Triple Crown, American Ballroom Champions, Sam Gordon and Tamsyn DeVilliers.
We are very excited to share that Celebrity Ballroom Dance Studio team brought home several wins. Please help us congratulate everyone on all their hard work and superb performances.
- Mechelle Flowers won 1st is all 40 single dances and 1st in her open bronze rhythm scholarships
- Marcell LaMotte and Hope Hutchins placed 5th in Professional Novice
- Tye Johnson & Donna Addison placed 2nd in Professional Novice
- Brandon Booth & Donna Addison place 3rd in Professional Pre-Champ
- Austin Franklin & Anastasia Bychkovaya placed 2nd in Professional Pre-Champ
- Ryan Winslow & Shelby Greenslit places 3rd in Open Professional Smooth.
